time: 2:36PM
location: Standing at my desk in my newly painted spare bedroom/work space. It took me a total of about 1.5 days, but I got a fresh coat of Behr Frost white on the walls. I love it. It makes me happy.
I was able to frame a few pieces of artwork and put those up, too.
This one from Walk In Love.
This Westie painting I bought from Etsy a while back. It is a print of an acrylic painting that I had on a wish list several years ago for Christmas. I believe it is from this girl's shop. The "value" is an acrylic cut from Ali Edwards Designs. My 2016 One Little Word. The bottom is a print of Cakes by Wayne Thiebaud I bought on Amazon.com a couple of years ago when I was planning Ellis' third birthday.
The next two are my artwork. The top door map pencil and pen drawing is basically just a door - but the house number has significance to me. It's my grandparents house number. The bottom piece is my rendition of the Cakes painting. I drew them in pen and pencil and then watercolored it so that I could use it for Ellis' birthday invitation and party favors.
The room itself still is not as clutter free as I would like it to be, BUT it is a huge difference and makes me happy to work in a "new to me" space.
watching: Captive series on Netflix. I like watching documentaries like this. By watching, I mean, I listening to them while I work at my desk.
drinking: water with lime - and coffee. Not together, but I have both sitting here with me.
Eating: leftovers because I really really don't like going to the grocery store.
reading: I started a Bible study by Beth Moore yesterday with a wonderful small group of women yesterday. Audacious. I am excited to continue reading the first three chapters before next Wednesday.
diffusing: Lime and Peppermint. Lime seems to be my favorite lately and peppermint for staying alert.
working: on crossing things off my list for Ellis' birthday party. Today: designing the invite and getting it sent to the printer. Off to work.
