I just love Young House Love's blog. It's super inspiring and always so well written!
Last week, Sherry, Katie, Ana, and Erin posted another Pinterest Challenge and it prompted me to take photos of the "pins" I created this past summer while on break. Turns out, I actually have created more "pins" than I realized!
First off is the Book Page Wreath.
This actually took way more book pages than I thought I would need to use, but it might be because my book pages were smaller, too. I used the Martha Stewart Doily punch for the ends - and was actually able to punch through about 2-3 sheets at a time (huge time saver!) - but I think this one would be super pretty too!
Next up, these lovely cake stands.
My original pin is from Bee In Our Bonnet blog!
When I first pinned this idea, I was gearing up for throwing a shower for my dear friend. I thought they would be perfect for the cake table deserts! Now, they seem to have stayed on our dining room table for decor!
And I really must admit, that a lot of the actual creating of these was thanks to Adam. He helped out a lot with the routing of the edges, and painting! This one was definitely a "do-it-with-your-husband" project for a not-so-often-power-tool user like me.
Also, the scalloped edge was not available at our local Home Depot, so we just went with decorative trim for the edges.
Two more down!
Oh, and don't forget you still have until November the 8th to participate in the GG Blog Hop by leaving a comment on this post to be entered to win a $15 gift certificate from www.twopeasinabucket.com!
