For my 2Peas GG Blog Hop project, I decided to create a fun, quick, and easy card using scraps of paper.
I am sure I am not the only scrapbooker whose desk often looks like this after creating a layout:
LOTS of scrap strips of paper!
Some pattern paper, some just cardstock, but still - LOTS OF STRIPS...
So I thought why not create a fun card using those strips before I clean my desk off?!
I started by taking a plain white cardstock for the base, and then just began adhereing the strips of paper to my white card - leaving a bit of space between each. I decided I would pull them all together by stitching one single line down the bottom with my sewing machine.
I then just added the flower, and pop dotted the quote (also a left over scrap!), and added the foam alphabet stickers for a nice title.
Card Supply List:
American Crafts Stitched Finish
American Crafts Foam Thicker Letter Stickers
Once it was completed, I did not once wince throwning away the rest of the scraps :)
Leave a comment for me and tell me if you keep scraps of paper?! Once you leave a comment, you will be entered to win a $15 gift certificate from www.twopeasinabucket.com. The winner will be announced on November 8th, so please check back on that day!
You arrived from Lisa Truesdell's blog. Next up on the list is Jaime Warren's blog. Ready, set, go!
