The trees and shrubs in our yard fear me when I get ahold of Adam's hand saw. Sunday afternoon was a "projects" day that consisted of yard work. Yardwork for me consists of lots of caloric burn using the old fashion hand saw :)
These bushes that once covered the rockwork on our porch (notice the arrows)?
GONE.
My grandparents house has always had Box Wood shrubs around the front porch, so those are what I really love. They got to stay!
Adam said I was a tree killer.
I called him a tree hugger, and kept on sawing away!
But he was sure to compliment me on my shrub work when we were done. Then I proceeded to make an off color joke about landscaping and my Mexican culture "of course, I know what I am doing..." He laughed, and said I was "wrong for that!" ...and I complimented him on his laying of the cedar chips.
And with that we crossed off one more item from the home projects list.
