Our only family of four photo :) We went out to Trickham to see Adam's current creation - a HUGE Jurassic Park style gate on a ranch with buffalo, longhorns and a teepee. We always love seeing his hard work come to life.
Aunt Leslie came to stay the night with us. Ellis absolutely LOVES her aunt Le-leeee :) I think it's so awesome how much they favor each other.
Aunt Rachel and Uncle Lee. They spoil her on a daily basis, but were her very special Easter Bunnies this year. She absolutely adores the two of them.
No cast is going to put a damper on this girl. Her spirit is so contagious and courageous. Swinging on the same swing I grew up swinging on at my grandparents house.
I have to admit, I was a bit sad that she was going to be in a cast this Easter. I was not sure how or even if she would be able to egg hunt. I had decided that we just wouldn't. And then my grandparents brought out a bag of Easter eggs and so we quickly hid them around the back yard.
I wanted to cry. She was ALL about it and did not skip a beat. Her "can-do" attitude was so uplifting to me and probably the best thing for this mama. She was so excited and literally moved as fast as her little body would let her.
Happiness times a million.
Moral of the story: never under-estimate this girl; God is GREAT.
God Bless you and your families.
He is Risen.
