Miss Ellis is four weeks, today. One.Whole.Month.
She is a great eater - loves to eat, like her mama, and took to nursing like a champ. She has a set of lungs that can make your ears ring (smile). She will most likely have dark brown eyes and hair. I still cannot say who she looks more alike - me or Adam. Most people say me, but I think she looks a lot like Adam as a baby. She has long arms and loves to have them up near her face. She has the cutest duck tail of long hair at the nape of her neck. She is a good sleeper some nights, and some nights, not so much. She has long fingers - Adam thinks she will be able to grip a softball well (smile). She has very expressive eye brows. She weighed in at 8lbs 3 ounces at her last doctors appointment - two weeks ago, so I'm guessing (hoping!) she's more than that now.
I'm still not sure I've grasped this fact: I am a mommy of a one month old.
Someone pinch me (smile).
Oh, and for reality's sake, an outtake from our quick home photo shoot.
She's an infant, and this is more the reality of our days. Ellis Chandler Rose, she's just keeping it real (smile).
