A great friend of mine told me about it when we were on our way out of town to shop, and it's literally changed my life.
With all the hype about coupon-clipping and super-coupon-ing and mega coupon-ing, I have really tried to use more coupons. For example, like when I am going to a mall I check our pile of ad mail and see if there are any coupons in the stack for stores I know I might shop at (GAP, Banana Republic, NY&Co, Bath & Body Works, etc.). If, on the rare chance that we actually have some in the stack that are not expired, I put them in my purse pocket and set forth to the mall. Most of the time, about 10-15 minutes after I walk out of the GAP, I realize, "Shoot! I completely forgot to use that paper coupon!"
Not anymore. Snip Snap has changed my couponing ways.
This app is so easy to use, does not require me to have the actual paper coupons, and sends me reminders when I get in the vicinity of a store I have a coupon for.
It makes using coupons so simple in the following ways (via)
- In-Store Reminders When you've entered a store, SnipSnap pings you to use your coupons.
- Use for Any Coupons Works for everything from the local coffee shop to retailers to restaurants.
- Expiration Date Alerts Notifications to use your coupon when expiration date is approaching.
- Share with Friends Share coupons with friends via Facebook, Twitter, or Email.
Or, if you are in a store and don't have a coupon you can always just click on "discover" and see if there are any other coupons available for use that were uploaded by other app users.
And the part I love the most?!?!...
when I get a coupon in the mail (instead of stack piling it) I can quickly use the app to take a photo of the coupon, and the app scans my coupon and uploads it to the app for safe digital keeping - bar-code, and all. Allowing me to throw away the paper coupon. SO much less clutter - and I love that!!!
I'm talking from lots of experience, folks. I've tried it, and it has worked every time.
It truly is one of those apps that I believe has already earned it's space on my iPhone.
I am positive that I will not be buying 50 bottles of mustard anytime soon - I am not that much of a "super coupon'er" - but I will continue to use this app to actually USE more coupons. That I can promise!
Thanks for dropping by :)
