I was cleaning out our magazine drawer (yes, in the baño, smile) this week and found this stuck in between some older Glamour magazines (mine) and some woodworking magazines (his).
I cannot remember how long ago I created this "bookmark" for Adam, but it must have been a while...as a scrap booker, I can usually judge by the date of the products used (scrap booker friends, are you the same?!). Based on the sentiment, it's been almost a year (at least)...
It says: "WE LIVE pay check to pay check but I will love you--->forever"
Adam and I have seen some "tough" times. But those days, looking back, are the days/months/years that we learned the most and made the most out of the least. We are by no means, out of debt, but we do know that we have learned some hard lessons along the way.
Tonight we had one of those "hindsight being 20/20" conversations. We realized, that we have come a good way down the road of life. Still have a ways to go - and hopefully always will because we think it keeps us real - but lessons have been learned and mistakes will not be repeated. Well, we hope...
And that's probably the best thing that's come from it all - HOPE. Hope that everything will be alright. Tomorrow is another day. Faith that He will take care of us. Something my mom always said - and I can hear her voice saying it now...
It's amazing what finding something in a drawer can make you think/rethink about.
I love finding stuff like this.
Thanks for dropping by and letting me share :)
