Adam has gotten in the habit lately of taking iphone pics of the projects he's working on. I enjoy seeing them. Since his "office" is basically our kitchen, it's nice to get to see where & what he is working on. And really, I love pulling ideas from his jobs when we talk about doing work to our own house.
A week or so ago he put the last few finishing touches on this bathroom remodel.
The layout design was his idea to the home owner, but someone else did the tile work. He was especially happy that the home owner went with his idea of making the shower larger by adding in the bench.
And for the past week or so, he has been working on a backyard remodel. Adding in a concrete patio.
And putting up a new privacy fence.
These photos make me happy to look at - I enjoy seeing the great angles he naturally takes with his phone.
A back alley view.
And a view of the fence sides. He especially liked this choice the home owner made and was excited to show me this photo.
During and in between those jobs, he makes time for his second business of wind turbines. He travels the Texas highways to service wind turbines and also capture great photos from way up high. I love these photos the best...even though I wince and shutter when I think about how dangerous it could be.
He truly enjoys his work. I admire that about him. I tease him that it's not really like "work" to him because he loves what he gets to do on a daily basis. But truly, I am grateful for that.
And tonight when I asked him if he noticed the rainbow after the rain this evening, he said, "Yes, I took a picture of it with my phone." I smiled.
Because I did too.
Two separate locations. Mine, taken while filling up my car with gas. His, while walking into Home Depot. Both with the same impulse to stop and pay attention to the natural beauty in life.
Thanks for dropping by :)
