I have not been scrap booking a whole heckava lot lately, but seriously what is inspiring me a lot to get in there (even if its for 10-15 minutes at the end of the day) is great product.
I was able to get some of the incredibly COOL Ormolu from 2peas and that stuff just makes me want to scrapbook.
I created this layout after blogging about our half marathon adventure - I just loved fitting in more than 1 photo by using my Instagram photos.
And finally, after knowing for several years that I should and was missing out, I joined the Studio Calico Kit Club. This concept is perfect for a seasoned scrap booker or beginner. And if you are a beginner to the scrap booking world, this kit ='s the latest and greatest product available. Product that inspired me to create this layout of Henry.
The journaling is about how many iPhone photos of Henry I have from 2010 - and these 2 photos are definitely my most favorite - taken on Christmas morning 2010.
I loved how the products in the County Fair Kit complimented my photos so well.
With my left over scraps I created another "strips of paper" card
I love that stamp - also from Studio Calico.
And speaking of the latest and greatest scrap booking products, CHA was this week. CHA = Craft and Hobby Association. It seems like FOR-EVER ago that I participated and worked a few of these shows. It may seem like a life time ago, but my love for new product is still the same - and so are many of the friendships that have come from this hobby :) Each January and July, I get excited to see all of the inspiring products hitting the cyber shelves.
Gearing up for a creative crafty weekend - excited to create and share my love of sewing and crafting with friends and family.
Thanks for dropping by :)
