I've never been much of a nail polish girl. Waiting for the paint to dry has always been hard for me and I just never wanted to take the time for myself. So it was always natural neatly filed nails for me.
And then, I noticed that colors besides red, pink, and peaches were trending again, and learned that ebay is a great place to find cool shades. I'm certainly not a hand model, nor do I possess ambidextrous talent to paint my right hand without mishaps, that's for sure, but lets just say that I'm pretty sure my nails have not gone more than a week without color.
Yes, nice short nails+ color is my favorite hand accessory lately - and as I went through my iPhone photos the other day, I realized just how many times I have snapped photos of my painted nails.
Wet Cement by Sally Hansen in October
Warm & Fozzie by OPI in November
510 3D (gold) by Milani in early December
I LOVE this color - and have LOVED gold on my nails ever since.
Gold Lame with 510 3D on top - both from Milani. Love this on both nails and toes.
Pop the Cork by Confetti. I posted this pic a while back and accidentally mis-named it...Thanks to my sister for double checking the colors for me to post it correctly.
Silver Slippers by Confetti in mid-December...actually on our way to go Christmas shopping and I, being a classy girl, stuck my hands out of the sun roof for a quick dry.
Tip Taupe by Tip Toe in early January.
Glitzerland by OPI in mid-January. I love this color so much - great cross between gold and silver (new favorite.
Animal-istic by OPI just last Friday.
I'm not going to lie. This is no where close to the number of different colors I've used bought in the past few months, but it does capture a bit of my nail polish love lately. As I type this, I am wearing Meet Me on the Star Ferry by OPI

There have been colors that I was hyped about, and some that I was "eh" with, but I will say that just having color on my nails has added a bit of pep in my step. At work, in the car, in a dressing room trying on clothes - when I catch a glimpse of my nails, it makes me happy. Taking time for me - even that means taking 15-20 minutes to sit still for dry time. It's been totally worth it.
Thanks for dropping by :)
