My original first gen. iPhone (that I got in 2008, mind you) just would not die, which meant that it took quite a few months to convince Adam that I needed a new one.
And finally a few weeks ago he caved and bought me the iPhone 4.
Since then, I’ve had lots of fun downloading fun photo apps that I love and could not take advantage of before because my camera lens on my first gen. was scratched and fuzzy.
My top picks right now are (all images are from iTunes):
instagram - free!
I’ve wanted this app for the longest time. But I knew it would not be worth while until I had a new phone with a non-scratched, not blurry camera lens. Great app to share iPhone pics with, and wonderfully custom designed filters and borders to spruce up your snapshots!
INcredibooth - .99
This one is super fun! The camera shutter is on a timer and clicks 4 consecutive pics. And the photos come out looking a lot like actual photobooth pictures.
Photo 365 - .99
So far, the procrastinator in me has been 15 for 16 and today is not over yet, so I am oooonnn track! The app is set up like a calendar, and you can set it to remind you to take a photo if you have not for the day. I set my reminder for 11 pm, and I am not going to lie - about 3+ of my photos are of Henry on our bed because that’s usually where we are at that time. But it does work as a reminder! The app allows you to post your photos to several social media websites, email them, and add a message about the photo.
camera plus pro - 1.99
I was flipping through my Macworld magazine and noticed this app was on their top picks, so I checked it out. GREAT app to quickly edit your photos. Crop, rotate, adjust, and add special color effects and borders to your iPhone photos. I know there are more out there like this one, but I like this one, and probably have already used it enough to suffice the 1.99.
postal pix - free
Maggie Holmes of the scrapbooking/crafting/photography community recommended this app, and i love the concept of it. It’s a quick and easy way to print your iPhone photos without having to upload them to your computer first. You can print at 4X4 size all the way up to a regular 8X10 size. The 4X4 square prints are only .29-.30 cents.
At this time, I have not ordered any prints from them, but I will be sure to update when I do.
What are your favorite apps for the iPhone 4? Any recommendations? I'd love to hear :)
