Stayed up late on Saturday night to watch SNL's Best of Amy Poehler special. OMGoodness! She is comedy at it's best for me. This sketch is probably one of my most favorites, and never fails to have me laughing till my stomach hurts.
Just wanted to share a little laugh from me to you!
Where did the week go?! Well, I'll tell you.... it went on DAY AFTER DAY AFTER DAY AFTER DAY. Good-NESS. For a 4 day week, this week has dragged. Between my students getting restless for summer, and all of the spring sports/events going on, I feel frazzled and am struggling to keep my head above water. FOR REAL counting down the days until prom 09 is OVER with. That in itself is enough to make me punch a clown. It's so hard to work with LOTS of different opinions and ideas and not a big enough budget. And certain fellow sponsors who... well, I'll just cut it off at that. Let's just say I had an Ally McBeal moment at the lounge/lunch table today. The kind where I imagined myself morphing into a tiger and leaping across the table to clobber said person with my claws! :) I'm being a drama queen, I know, but I seriously had that moment today. ______________________________________________________________________________________________
In other happier news: I did the weekly challenge over at twopeasinabucket.com. Scrap an Action Photo! copyright Twopeasinabucket.com
You can see the challenge here. I always feel anxious when I do a challenge because I'm afraid I won't have any participants :) So if you get a chance this week and are feeling creative, join the challenge! I would totally appreciate it!
Sitting in our lake chairs on the back patio. Both drinking something cold (mine with lime salt ;) Both on our laptops. Listening to the birds and the sizzling sounds of steaks on the grill. Ahhhhh, yes. It's our paradise. _____________________________________________________________________________________________
Had a wonderfully productive day today! Checked many things off my to do list for my Good Friday off. I absolutely love days like today. Gearing up for a wonderful Easter weekend with family coming in, church on Sunday, and hallelujah, another day off on Monday (unused Bad Weather day).
God is good. Life is good.
Happy Easter Weekend from our paradise to yours, :0)
All I have left is the binding, I just haven't made the time to get it out and finish.
I want to scrap a lot using these new babies cause they are just so cool!
and LOTS of this cause I just want to emboss everything lately. and these powders are awesome, hands down.
Spend some time with Adam out in the yard. Plan out our garden and maybe some new landscaping in the front yard just for an updated look.
And get rid of this crappy sinus infection/cold that I've had the past 2 days.
I always have such high hopes for the weekend :) and then by Sunday night I am always stunned wondering where the time went?! Ever have that feeling?!
We are also awaiting the arrival of a puppy! I got impatient being on the Westie Rescue waiting list, so I searched out a breeder in our area. She has a litter due any day now, and I am sooo anxious waiting for her email that they have been born. Of course, we will have to wait 6-9 weeks after to go pick him up, but still - the suspense is killing me! Super exciting :)
Hope your list of want-to-dos for the weekend is as fun and exciting as mine :P
