Today was gorgeous.
Gorgeous weather, gorgeous family, just plain gorgeous.
This morning was the first chilly morning that led into the day. Man, I love fall. And man, today felt like fall in Brownwood.
Nothing exceptionally fantastic happened, it was just a beautiful day.
Lunch at Grandmas and then a pleasant tour of homes (impromptu, of course).
Not only are Adam and I new home owners, but as of last Thursday, my sister and her fiance became new home owners of a beautiful home here in town. It is gorgeous. It fits them to a Tee. And as of Saturday, they have painted the one room that they plan on painting: the kitchen. No, I don't have any photos, but it's beautiful.
So today we had family come over and see the work that we've done, and then headed over to Rachel and Lee's new digs.
It was nice.
The end of this week will mark exactly one month before we say our vows.
Man, we are ready. I am so excited, but so very ready for the day to get here so we can then return to our regular scheduled program.
Plus, my poor mother's living room/house has been invaded by shower gifts and wedding decor...and I still have 2 showers to go. One this weekend, and then a lingerie shower in the middle of October. My mom says she doesn't mind, but really, it's everywhere. The scrapbooker in me tells me to take a photo of it, but the neat freak says "just move it, already."
And now I am just babbling.
Must be the head cold med's. Oh yeah, the sinus/cold/allergy thing that I posted about previously turned into a full fledge head cold that left me in bed all day yesterday. Major suckage, but my Worm did go and buy me the new season of Gilmore Girls, so I stayed in bed and watched the first 2 dvd's. Not too shabby for a day in bed. :0) Yup, my Worm even brought me chicken soup. He does take care of me.
Feeling better today.
Enjoying the new season that is slowly but surly approaching.
A gorgeous Sunday.
