Today was another good day for me.
I got some scrappin' done today. I got two awesome-ass emails (can't say what they are exactly, but they are scrap-related).
AND with the help of my friend, Sarah, we filmed the final video to send in to the Today Show. It only took about 3-4 takes for us to get our thang together and film without laughing. One question: Why is it that when you see yourself on video, you realize what kind of DORK-O you really are?! I swear. My voice is way different than what I hear. I never knew how freakish I look when I talk - all teeth. And my eyes darted back and forth more than a person on meth. It's weird. Adam says, "WHAT? You look normal." And I am like, "oh yeah, thanks a whole lot."
Anyways, it's done though. And it's being mailed. We didn't do any extras like take our clothes off like you see on the MTV Real World entries. No, we just were ourselves. Hopefully not dreadfully boring. :0)
I still have not figured out if I will take SB supplies with me to MO. And if so, how much I will take. Adam, being the totally awesome fiancé that he is, did offer to buy me a Cropper Hopper, but I told him that it was okay. All my supplies won't fit in it anyway. But wasn't it sweet of him to offer?!! I'm gettin a toothache oveh her-ah!
Last, but certainly not least, I got some awesome photography tips from THE wonderfully talented photographer/scrapbooker, Tara Whitney. I am an avid reader of her blog. Okay, I stalk her blog. She is just that awesome. Today, she posted photography tips. I learned 2 new things about my camera. Two new, and I must say, very VALUABLE tips. ISO and WB. I had always seen those on my Canon digital Rebel, but never touched them. Wasn't sure what they did. And now I know. And I believe I am a better amatuer photographer for it. Thank you very much, Miss T. She rocks.
GOOD stuff for the day. I love those days.
